Preschoolers experience fun-filled education during the Nick Jr. Play to Learn School Tour

Preschoolers cheered as Dora the Explorer, her lovable best friend Boots, Map and Backpack came out to play.

Nickelodeon characters came alive with the Nick Jr. Play to Learn School Tour. Dora the Explorer, Diego, the Bubble Guppies, Team Umizoomi, and Kai-Lan inspired preschoolers to learn and play the Nick Jr. way throughout different Metro Manila schools in an afternoon of fun and learning.

Hundreds of preschool students aged three to five participated in the two-hour program filled with various Nick Jr. themed games and exciting activities. With much enthusiasm, toddlers played games featuring the familiar faces of their favorite Nick Jr. characters. Nickelodeon prepared booth games and a giant interactive story book chockfull of cool challenges, such as helping Dora gather all the estrellas or stars before they fall on the ground and helping Diego match various shapes with their corresponding outlines on the page.

“We have a good mix of activities that appeal to the different personalities of our Nick Jr. market, especially when they’re inspired by our lovable characters,” says Nickelodeon Marketing and Communications Manager, Carla de Castro. “We always make sure that our activities not only challenge the kids mentally and physically, but also inspire teamwork and creativity.”The wholesome school time event was made even better with a special episode showing of the Bubble Guppies, which presented another one of their exciting underwater adventures. Even Dora and Diego dropped by to join in the fun, which delighted the little Nick fans. “Today was so much fun,” says one preschooler. “My favorite part was when Dora and Diego danced for all of us.”

More than just a fun learning experience that had preschoolers listening and laughing, the Nick Jr. Play to Learn School Tour also rewarded them with awesome prizes and freebies. Nick Jr.’s Play to Learn School Tour was presented by Leap Frog, Scott’s Vitamin C Pastilles, Purefoods Fun Nuggets, Sunkist, and Progress Preschool Gold.
